Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Refund Policy

Refund eligibility is evaluated case-by-case and depends on:

  • The status of the request or transaction
  • Third-party provider terms and policies
  • Verification and compliance requirements

2. Refund Processing Time

Refund timeframes vary based on circumstances:

Standard Processing: 3 days to 6 months

Timeframes may be extended due to provider delays, compliance requirements, investigations, or banking network processing times.

3. Service Fees

In some cases, service fees may be non-refundable. This includes:

  • Administrative or processing fees
  • Third-party fees already incurred
  • Fees for services partially rendered
  • Currency conversion costs

4. Partial Refunds

Where a full refund is not applicable, MSC Services may offer:

  • Partial monetary refund based on service usage
  • Proportional refund after deducting applicable fees
  • Credit adjustment for future services

5. Voucher Credits

In certain cases, refunds may be issued as vouchers or service credits instead of monetary refunds. Voucher credits:

  • May have expiration dates
  • Are non-transferable unless specified
  • Can be applied to future MSC Services transactions

6. Mobility Services (Yala Ride)

For ride-hailing and mobility services:

  • Cancellations before driver assignment: typically fully refundable
  • Cancellations after driver assignment: may incur cancellation fee
  • No-shows: generally non-refundable
  • Driver cancellations: full refund or rebooking offered

7. Travel Services

For travel and booking-related services:

  • Cancellation policies vary by supplier/provider
  • Advance cancellation may qualify for partial or full refund
  • Last-minute cancellations: subject to supplier terms
  • Non-refundable bookings: clearly marked at checkout

8. Financial Services

For financial service coordination:

  • Refunds subject to compliance and verification review
  • Processing fees may be non-refundable
  • Exchange rate differences applied at time of refund
  • Investigations may delay refund processing
